⚠️ Renault Security Token (Important Information)

Modern Renault Group vehicles are equipped with security gateway protection (SGW), which restricts access to certain advanced diagnostic and programming functions.

What is the Token?

A USB security dongle (electronic key/token) used to authenticate the diagnostic tool with Renault’s official systems.

Why is it Required?

Without this token, the tool will still perform full diagnostics, but some advanced features may be restricted, such as:

• ECU programming and software updates
• Key/card programming
• Immobilizer functions
• Gateway-protected module access
• Advanced coding and configuration

The token must be obtained from official Renault sources, such as:

Access typically requires:
